Some Comcast Xfinity customers in the US currently can't reach savva.app. The site is safe and fully operational — Xfinity's "Advanced Security" filter has flagged it in error. Here's what's going on and how to get back in within a minute.

TL;DR: If SAVVA won't load on your home Wi‑Fi but works on mobile data, your Xfinity gateway is the cause. Open the Xfinity app and either allow savva.app in Advanced Security or switch Advanced Security off. A VPN also works. We've asked Xfinity to remove the false flag.

What you might be seeing

This site can't provide a secure connection
savva.app sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Instead of the error above, you might land on a warning page from safebrowse.io saying the site was blocked for your protection. Both symptoms have the same cause: Xfinity Advanced Security, a filter built into Comcast's xFi gateways (and switched on by default), has mistakenly added savva.app to its blocklist. It cuts the connection before your browser can even say hello to our servers — which is why the browser reports a garbled "SSL protocol error" rather than a clear block message.

This affects only customers of Comcast Xfinity home internet using an xFi gateway. If you're on another provider, a different router, mobile data, or outside the US, nothing changes for you.

Is SAVVA safe? Yes — we checked, so you don't have to

The flag is a false positive. On August 12, 2026, we verified the domain against the industry's standard reputation services:

Service Verdict
Google Safe Browsing ✅ Clean — no warnings for savva.app or any subdomain
Spamhaus DBL ✅ Not listed
SURBL ✅ Not listed
SAVVA servers ✅ Fully operational — nothing was hacked, changed, or compromised

The only service flagging savva.app is the one doing the blocking: Xfinity's filter, powered by a third-party "AI threat intelligence" vendor. Newer domains and crypto/Web3 platforms get caught by it regularly — it has a long public record of blocking legitimate sites.

How to fix it — pick whichever suits you

Open the Xfinity app on your phone → go to the WiFi tab → Advanced Security. Under blocked activity, you'll find savva.app — mark it as allowed. Keeps the filter on for everything else.

Note: Xfinity sometimes re-blocks an allowed site after a while. If that happens, repeat — or use option 2 or 3.

2. Turn Advanced Security off

Same place: Xfinity app → WiFiAdvanced Security → turn it off. Instant and permanent. Your devices' own protections (browser Safe Browsing, OS security) keep working as before.

3. Use a VPN

The filter inspects traffic inside the Xfinity gateway; any VPN tunnels straight past it. If you already use one, just switch it on.

4. Switch networks

Mobile data, a phone hotspot, or any non-Xfinity connection works normally. Handy as a quick check, too: If SAVVA loads on cellular but not on your Wi‑Fi, this article is about you.

What we're doing about it

On August 12, 2026, we filed a formal re-assessment request with Comcast through their Service Policy Assurance portal, with the evidence above. We're pressing to have savva.app removed from the blocklist for all Xfinity customers and will update this page when it's resolved.

You can speed this up. Xfinity reviews flags faster when its own customers report them. If you have an Xfinity account, it takes two minutes: go to spa.xfinity.com, choose Advanced Security, and report savva.app as incorrectly blocked.
